Characteristics:
Polyethylene foil with properties allowing for the regulation of water vapor penetration in building structures. Does not contain chalk fillers.
Application:
- for making vapor barriers in skeletal structures of walls, roofs, ceilings
- as protection of thermal and acoustic insulation against moisture
- for temporary protection of roof slopes

Installation tips:
The product should be installed after the thermal insulation has been installed, horizontally or parallel to the rafters (or wall beams) from the inside, depending on the complexity of the roof truss structure. The product should be placed with light tension - slightly stretching. In the case of horizontal installation, start the installation from above - from the cover of the collar or the ridge, depending on the method of installing the thermal insulation. Each subsequent layer should be overlapped at least 5 cm and sealed with an adhesive tape. Installation of plasterboard or other cladding fastening systems must ensure the tightness of the vapor barrier layer. At connections with vertical elements: elbow walls, chimneys and gable or partition walls, self-adhesive sealing tapes should be used. For these connections, it is recommended to use pressure strips attached to the above-mentioned vertical elements (walls and chimneys). At connections with roof windows and access hatches, the manufacturers' recommendations should be followed, so that the connections with the frames or casings of these elements are tight. The vapor barrier foil is installed either side.
