Description
1. Application The EFS reinforcement is intended to be placed in the supporting joints (made of adhesive mortar) of walls made of small-size elements in order to: - prevent the formation of scratches due to the movement of the substrate (foundation, ceiling, etc.), - strengthen the wall with forces perpendicular to it planes (e.g. filling walls), - constructing beams and wall shields transferring the vertical load (e.g. lintels of the façade layer of a three-layer wall), - increasing resistance to the effects of temperature differences (increasing the spacing of vertical joints), - reinforcing areas where there is a large difference stresses (e.g. variable wall height, concentrated forces, etc.). 2. Material The flat bars and wire are made of low carbon steel with a zinc coating. 3. Geometry The length of the reinforcement (for each type) 3050 mm.
