PRODUCT DESCRIPTION weber.rep 753 (Cerinol ES 8) is a hydraulically setting, ready-to-use cementitious mortar with a grain size of 8 mm. The mortar is intended for leveling concrete surfaces subjected to dynamic loads, including traffic loads, with a layer thickness of 20 to a maximum of 100 mm. THE MOST IMPORTANT PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT: - very easy processing, - low water-cement ratio, - high resistance to alternating freezing and thawing as well as de-icing salts, - high mechanical strength, - excellent peel strength, - low shrinkage and internal stress, - good accumulation capacity water. PRODUCT APPLICATION weber.rep 753 is used as a PCC repair mortar, leveling mortar and floor covering on horizontal and slightly sloping surfaces, especially as a mechanically stressed layer in bridges and civil engineering structures, e.g. under communication bridges and for increasing the concrete cover armaments. In addition, weber.rep 753 can be used to thicken concrete industrial floors. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION The substrate must be clean, load-bearing and rough. Moreover, the substrate must not be frozen. The peel strength of the absorbent base should be at least 1.5 MPa. The substrate should be prepared by appropriate milling, shot blasting or hydromonitoring. PRODUCT PREPARATION Mix a 25 kg bag of weber.rep 753 repair mortar with approx. 2.2 - 2.5 liters of clean water until a lump-free, trowelable mortar is obtained. First, pour water into the mixer, then successively add weber.rep 753 and mix for at least 3 minutes. For smaller amounts, a slow-speed (max. 400 rpm) drill with an attached paddle mixer can be used for mixing. APPLICATION AND BINDING CONDITIONS Air and object temperature during processing: from + 5 ° C to + 35 ° C The applied PCC repair mortar coating should be protected against too quick drying, therefore, increased temperatures and air drafts should be avoided. The maintenance should last at least 5 days, during which the applied coating should be protected against frost and should be covered or kept moist. Do not spray water on weber.rep 753 repair mortar when fresh. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS The weber.rep 753 repair mortar is used in conjunction with the bonding layer of weber.rep 751 or weber.tec 793 and possibly with the protective mineral coating of the reinforcement weber.rep 750 (see technical data sheets of these materials). Apply the weber.rep 753 repair mortar using pressure on the still fresh bonding layer with weber.rep 751 or weber.tec 793 made on the smallest possible surface. The applied mortar should be immediately smoothed with a patch to the required thickness, and then briefly smoothed out with a trowel. For larger surfaces, it is advisable to use a vibrating beam or staff. Rinse the tools in clean water before the mortar sets.
