Way installation of concrete plugs
Surface preparation
Before preparing the adhesive, all tie rod holes should be cleaned of any contamination with a wire brush. The recess should not contain stagnant water, dust, lime milk, anti-adhesive preparations and oils. In order to seal the hole tight, the surface should be dry and the temperature of the concrete should not fall below 5 degrees Celsius.
Fixing of concrete plugs
Concrete plug 22/20 or 22/50 is fastened in the hole with a sealing glue (two-component). A thin layer of glue should be applied to the hole with a trowel or a piece of wood, and then spread the glue throughout the recess. The forbuild concrete plug is immersed in the two-component glue and then placed in the hole. When plugging the hole, the cork must be turned 180 degrees to evenly distribute the adhesive. The resulting cavity should be filled with a sealing mortar. It is assumed to use 1 kilogram of glue for about 70 pieces of 50 mm long concrete plug and about 100 pieces for a 20 mm long cork.
