Description
The expansion tape is a mat strip with an incision, additionally laminated with PE foil with an overlap used to cover the contact point of vertical insulation made of polyethylene mat and horizontal insulation, e.g. polystyrene insulation. There are 6 cuts, 8 mm apart from the top edge, on the tape to tear off any excess expansion tape above the floor.
Application
Its main task is to create flexible edge joints in the implementation of multi-layer floors, & amp; rdquo floating floors & amp; rdquo. Expansion tape is used wherever it can fill expansion joints, i.e. in buildings, tunnels, underground passages, bridges and roads. The expansion tape is used both in traditional construction, as well as in wooden and frame construction. The width of the tape used depends on the thickness of the floor layers.
